The main symbol of "Kodomo no Hi" is the koinobori, or carp streamer. The carp streamers are often hung from a pole in one's home or across a stream for display all across Japan.
Koinobori Festival also being held concurrently in most parts in Japan but this year the festival is being cancelled due to the pandemic outbreak.
