The beautiful Takayama Festival in Takayama, #gifu prefecture.

A 2x a year event, the Takayama Festival is also popularly known as the "Sanno Festival" (Spring) - the annual festival of Hie Shrine and the other festival held in autumn called "The Hachiman Festival". πŸŽ‰πŸŽŽ
It is the annual festival of Sakurayama Hachiman Shrine. This sister festival is held from the 9th Oct–10th Oct, 2020.

The main attraction of this festival are the floats or "yatai" in Japanese. These floats are 23 in total and are displayed and pulled around the town.
It's a marvellous sight to see them being pulled across the streets and the festival atmosphere is full of energy and excitement.
You can experience the unique and exquisite craftsmanship when seeing the floats upfloat and personal.

Personally, I think it is a brilliant and a beautiful festival to watch. Also, I've been informed this festival is also considered to be one of Japan's Three Most Beautiful Festivals. Just amazing!
