The Wakayama Electric Railway's Kishigawa Line is a well-known local line for its cat stationmaster. Ever since "Tama" was introduced as the new cat stationmaster, there had been a dramatic increase of tourists thus
saving the railway line from being decommissioned.
Sadly, "Tama" has passed away in 2015, but cheer up folks as there was a new replacement being made. Meet "Nitama", the new cat stationmaster! 🐱
Together with the combination of unique trains design, interesting cat shaped like building and the generous local support group, these contribution will continue to drive support in the years to come. Please do come to Wakayama to experience this unique and "kawaii" Kishigawa line. 🚂
