Nakijinjō site in #okinawa.

#Okinawa Post 2. (World Heritage Site).
The Nakijin Castle Ruins (今帰仁城跡, Nakijinjōato) are located on the Motobu Peninsula of northern Okinawa Honto and are among the UNESCO World Heritage designated Castles of the Ryukyu Kingdom.
Comparing to other castles on Okinawa, Nakijin Castle stands in an area of low population density area with lush forests, that bestow the ruins with a unique atmosphere.

From the Nakijin Castle Ruins, dim outlines of Izena and Iheya islands, said to be origins of the Ryukyu Kingdom, and Yoron island can be seen on a sunny day.
The castle features 1500 meters of undulating walls built on a gentle slope that give the structure a beautiful and graceful appearance, reminiscent of the China's Great Wall.
